Job summary

Leicester City Football Club is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Operative to join our Operations team at the Training Ground in Seagrave. You will be responsible for delivering a first-class cleaning service across the site, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming environment for players, staff, guests, and visitors.

The role requires extensive cleaning duties, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexibly including evenings, weekends, and matchdays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, sanitising and waste removal
• Maintain offices, communal areas, changing facilities, and other areas across the site
• Undertake outdoor cleaning tasks, including litter picking, cleaning external bins, windows, and surrounding areas
• Service bedrooms and change linen when required
• Complete scheduled deep-cleaning tasks
• Conduct regular checks to ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns
• Work in accordance with COSHH regulations, health and safety requirements, and club procedures
• Support colleagues to deliver an exceptional environment across the Training Ground

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Operative, you will help deliver a first-class cleaning service throughout the Training Ground, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

Essential

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Recognised cleaning qualification, such as City & Guilds Cleaning and Support Services Skills
• Experience working with external contractors
• Knowledge of housekeeping auditing processes
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification
• Membership of a recognised cleaning institute or association
