Job description

Housekeeping Manager - Full Time - Immediate Start

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering a salary of £22,713 pa.

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour

Working 32 hours per week on various days across a 7-day rota in Peak Season.

We are recruiting an experienced Housekeeping Manager to manage a team of cleaners and housekeepers at a renowned Holiday Park near Kingsteignton in Devon.

Your Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure high standards of cleaning within accommodation and leisure facilities are achieved to meet Guest and Holiday Park expectations.
  2. Liaise with the Operations Manager to ensure stock ordered and available for teams to deliver the cleans.
  3. Manage the rotas for housekeeping teams to meet guest arrivals and departures.
  4. Day to day people management of housekeeping and cleaning team across the whole leisure facility.
  5. Accommodation checks to ensure high standards met and report any breakages or repairs as required.
  6. Carry out necessary admin and reporting.
Successful Applicant is Required to Have:
  1. Experience in managing housekeeping and cleaning teams within a holiday park or hotel industry.
  2. Experience of taking accountability and responsibility for personal and team development.
  3. Experience in being able to support and manage under-performance with encouragement and motivation.
  4. Admin confidence and experience in Word, Excel, Outlook, and rota systems.
  5. Good customer service and communication skills.

Due to the location, you will be required to have your own transport and be a car driver to drive around the leisure facility and park.
