Job summary

Outlook Care is a specialist provider of learning disability services with a home in Colchester. Foxburrow Grange (69-bed) seeks staff for routine cleaning, housekeeping and laundry, always engaging with residents with dignity. Training will be provided for transferable skills and flexible working is encouraged.

The role is within a supportive, person-centred environment at Foxburrow Grange, conveniently located near Colchester town centre and major transport links.

Job Role:

You should be able todemonstrate an understanding of the home environment for our residents and engage with residents sensitively and with dignity. The role includes carrying out routine scheduled cleaning and general housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure a high standard of cleanliness within the home.Experience is an advantage, though full training will be provided to applicants with transferable skills.

The Service:

Foxburrow Grange is a 69 bed home with state-of-the-art facilities with an outstanding and friendly team of dedicated staff. The home has been delivering person-centred care for 30 years, is within easy reach of major transport links and close to Colchester town centre. The home comprises of four wings. On the ground floor are 32 bedrooms for residents with dementia, with a further 37 rooms on the first floor for people in need of nursing and/or dementia care.
