Job summary

Jewish Care at the Betty and Asher Loftus Centre in Friern Barnet is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to support the Hospitality team. You will work 35 hours per week across five days, including every other weekend, helping to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments for residents, visitors and colleagues.

You will assist with housekeeping and laundry duties, support events, monitor supplies and equipment, and report hazards or maintenance issues.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is required.
• COSHH and infection control training is desirable or willingness to undertake training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments for residents, visitors and staff across the campus and care homes.
• Support laundry services and monitor cleaning products and equipment.
• Assist with events and festivals and report hazards or maintenance issues.
• Ensure infection control standards are adhered to and waste is disposed of safely.
