Your Role: Housekeeping with Heart
As part of our dedicated domestic team, your role will be split between two essential areas: ensuring the care home is spotless, and running our laundry service smoothly and respectfully. You’ll work closely with your colleagues to make every space welcoming from communal lounges to individual bedrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

Domestic Cleaning: Deliver high-quality cleaning throughout the home, following policies and infection control best practices

Hygiene Standards: Ensure all areas are kept safe and sanitary, from bathrooms to bedrooms

Floor and Surface Care: Maintain floors and vertical surfaces, as well as furniture, fixtures, and fittings

Laundry Duties: Handle residents’ personal laundry with care and attention, including correct labelling, washing, drying, ironing, and returning

Waste Management: Safely remove refuse and dispose of it in line with health and safety standards

Teamwork: Collaborate with care, kitchen, and maintenance teams to ensure a well-run home

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Someone with an eye for detail and a pride in doing things properly
  • Experience in domestic or laundry work (especially in a care home) is helpful, but not essential
  • A calm, respectful manner – especially when handling personal belongings

About us:
You’ll be joining a values-led care home that’s part of the Care Concern Group, a family-owned provider with over 100 care homes across the UK. We’re expanding rapidly and are committed to delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
