Job description

RESORT: Pine Lake Resort

LOCATION: Carnforth, LA6 1JZ

HOURS: 24 per week

SALARY: GBP12.67 per hour

Reporting to the Head of Housekeeping, your main job duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the daily operation of the department in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Conducting daily inspections of units to ensure they meet our strict quality standards
  • Playing a key role in the induction and training of new and existing team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion
  • Mentoring new and existing team members, ensuring they understand and embody our company culture
  • Ensuring the efficient use of products and materials by all team members, strictly following sustainability guidelines
  • Leading by example at all times, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continual improvement
  • Being a great teammate, supporting your department and the resort as a whole
  • Assigning accommodations to each team member

Skills and experience required to fulfil the role include:

  • Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role is crucial
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy
  • Motivational and negotiation skills are advantageous
  • The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
  • A 'can do' and positive approach

The successful candidate will work three days a week, 24 hours total, including weekends and Bank Holidays, on a shift/rota basis.
