Job Description

Location: Coast Road

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our housekeeping team at the exclusive Ballygally Castle Hotel.

Hours vary and you need to flexible to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

The rate of pay ranges from £9 to £12.25 per hour depending on your age.

About The Role

To ensure that all housekeeping areas within the hotel are cleaned and presented to the Hastings Standard for the greatest enjoyment of our guests.

• To clean and service bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas of the hotel. Typical tasks include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning toilets, stripping and making beds.
• To ensure all equipment and materials are used in the correct manner and any problems are reported immediately.
• To always maintain the security of bedrooms and stock, immediately reporting any breaches and dealing with lost property in accordance with company procedures.
• To work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
• To be knowledgeable about the hotel offerings and be proactive in the sale of these to guests.
• Greeting guests and responding to their queries
• To ensure that guest concerns are dealt with politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
• To comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
• Any other duties as required by management.
  
  

About You

We would love you to have some similar previous experience, but this is not essential as our Housekeeping Team will provide you with full training.

Desired Criteria

• Educated to GCSE standard or the equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths.
• Prior experience in professional cleaning or housekeeping
