Job Description:

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associates to join the Equinox team. This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization based in a state-of-the-art, luxury facility.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Ensure that the club and exercise equipment are continuously clean and well maintained while providing all members, prospective members, and guests with excellent customer service.
2. Ensure that the sidewalk entrance and lobby are presentable, easily accessible, and rubbish free.
3. Clean the locker room and stock all locker room consumables accordingly such as products.
4. Clean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
5. Check and maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor, replenish where required.
6. Provide maintenance for all equipment.
7. Receive and store all deliveries in the required area.
8. Assist with special events and stock taking where necessary.
9. Escalate issues and equipment fixtures to the Maintenance Manager.
10. Prepare, launder, and handover towels and member clothes through our Laundry and Valet services.

The successful candidate must have the following experience and skills:

1. Must possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
2. Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred.
3. Willingness to service athletic equipment along with previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools.
4. Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
5. Candidates will be required to be flexible from Monday to Saturday.
