Job summary

Barons Pub Co in Copthorne, England, is looking for a friendly housekeeping assistant to maintain the highest cleanliness standards across our 11 boutique guest bedrooms. You’ll work 2–3 days a week from 10:00 to 14:00, contributing to a welcoming guest experience and supporting the broader housekeeping and maintenance team.

A positive can-do attitude, keen eye for detail, and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Able to work 10:00–14:00, 2–3 days per week.
• Positive can-do attitude and friendly manner.
• Keen attention to detail with high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and upkeep of the 11 boutique guest bedrooms.
• Monitor housekeeping stocks and raise issues to Management.
• Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness within the rooms, working closely with the rest of the housekeeping team and maintenance staff. We are looking for:

• A positive can-do attitude and a friendly, welcoming manner
• The ability to maintain high standards to provide an excellent guest experience
• Keen attention to detail with exceptional cleanliness standards

Key duties in this role will include general cleaning and up-keep of the 11 boutique guest bedrooms.

You will also monitor and maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Management team as you go.
