Job summary

The Fairlie Healthcare Group is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain clean, safe environments across our care homes in Reading. You will clean bedrooms and communal areas, following COSHH and health and safety guidelines.

You will join a friendly team, receive full training, and benefit from onsite parking, meals on shift, and a company pension. We value reliability, teamwork, and compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Some cleaning or laundry experience is beneficial.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to cleaning schedule and maintain high quality standards.
• Demonstrate courtesy and kindness when interacting with residents.
• Work within the housekeeping team and support the home values.
• Coordinate with management for ad hoc cleaning tasks.
• Store materials per COSHH guidance and maintain equipment.
