Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant - Bank at Darwin Court Care Home in Lichfield. You will work as part of a team to maintain cleanliness and laundry standards in the home, following our procedures to deliver hotel-style service and a comfortable living environment for residents.

To succeed you should have knowledge of health and safety, moving and handling, fire safety, and COSHH; experience with laundry in a public setting; and a compassionate, adaptable

• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality housekeeping/laundry service for residents.
• Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials to keep areas well presented.
• Ensuring residents are treated with dignity and respect and their personal space and belongings are respected.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

• Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.


• Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
