Bank. Shifts pattern 08:00-15:00

Our housekeeper is the unsung hero of our award-winning retirement village. With a flair for perfection and a sprinkle of care, they keep our community sparkling and residents beaming with pride.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • Ensuring that our residents’ care home facilities, public areas and individual properties are maintained to the highest cleaning standards

  • Operating vacuum cleaners, floor polishers and carpet shampooers

  • Emptying bins regularly

  • Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors

  • Cleaning carpets and upholstery and washing woodwork, windows, door panels and sills

  • Washing, drying and ironing residents clothing, bedding and communal laundry, including for our on-site care home residents

  • Reporting all safety hazards to management, ensuring Health and Safety standards and COSSH are adhered to at all times.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You will ideally bring experience from a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role, along with a basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards. As someone who is friendly and approachable, you will forge enduring professional relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families. Recognizing the importance of a safe working environment, you possess a meticulous attention to detail and take pride in your work. Equipped with strong communication skills, you are adept at collaborating as part of a team, across various functions and services.
