About the Company

This design-led hotel features 137 rooms, an open-plan kitchen, bar, restaurant, and versatile meeting and event spaces, providing a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere.

The Alan is known for its innovative approach to design, embracing a sustainable ethos by repurposing existing materials and highlighting the building’s historical character. By stripping away plasterboard to reveal original brickwork, heritage windows, and the true height of the structure, the hotel offers a unique blend of modern style and historical charm.

Main Duties

• Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, we are looking for someone who enjoys variation and has a flexible approach to their working environment.
• Our team are like a family, and we work together to deliver outstanding guest service by offering timely, efficient, knowledgeable, and truly remarkable service.

Qualifications

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements. To succeed in the role of housekeeper you will need the following qualities and skills:

• Prior commercial cleaning experience
• Physically able to cope with the challenges of the role
• To take pride in creating a beautiful space for guests
• Experience within a customer-facing role is preferred. No experience? No big deal – we’ll train you up!
