Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our professional and hardworking Housekeeping Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle creating truly memorable and impressive 5* experiences for our guests.

About Us

Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment, bringing back to life its regal grandeur. Located 20 minutes from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar, and two unique meeting and conference spaces.

Our goal is to deliver "refined and personalised hospitality" to make our hotel a place where all guests can relax, enjoy themselves, and feel like royalty in a unique setting with exceptional people.

Job Description

1. £12.42 per hour
2. 30 hours per week - 9:00am - 3:00pm. 5 days a week, including weekends
3. Ensure all hotel communal areas are cleaned and tidied to a high standard, including vacuuming, polishing, and dusting
4. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard, including refreshing linen and towels, vacuuming, and polishing
5. Restock guest room supplies, including linen, amenities, and collaterals
6. Engage with guests as required
7. Report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping manager

Qualifications

• While cleaning rooms can be physically demanding, full training will be provided, and you will be supported by a friendly team.
