As a Housekeeping Assistant, your primary focus will be to work collaboratively with the team to ensure that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will follow standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are consistently met. Other responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and treating residents with dignity and respect.

Your focus asHousekeepingAssistant will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry aremaintainedin the home. You willoperateaccording to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards aremaintained.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
- Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
- Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
- To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of health and safety, particularly in areas such as moving and handling techniques, fire safety, and COSHH assessments. Experience in cleaning and laundry in a public setting is also desirable. Importantly, you should demonstrate compassion and a commitment to providing high-quality housekeeping and laundry services to residents.
