Job summary

Bupa is recruiting a Housekeeping Assistant for Canning Court Care Home in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will help maintain a clean, welcoming environment across communal areas and residents' bedrooms, supporting independent living for residents. Shifts are 8am–4pm, with full-time or part-time options and alternate weekends.

The role involves stocking housekeeping supplies and reporting issues promptly. Join a team dedicated to compassionate, person-centred care and making health happen for residents.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, mop floors, polish and keep communal areas and residents' bedrooms clean and welcoming.
• Manage housekeeping stocks and report issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Housekeeping Assistant Canning Court Care Home, Canners Way, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 0BJ CQC Salary: £13.10 per hour Full Time or Part Time shifts available 8am - 4pm shifts with alternate weekends required

You’ll help us make health happen by:

• Being responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff
• Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms
• Maintaining housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
