Join us as a Housekeeping Assistant at JCA Adventure

We are seeking part-time Housekeeping Assistants to join our vibrant team at the Children’s Activity Centre, Condover Hall, located just outside Shrewsbury. Condover Hall is a Grade I listed Elizabethan sandstone building, renowned as the grandest manor house in Shropshire, situated in a conservation area on the outskirts of Condover village.

This seasonal position runs from now until 24th October 2025, with the possibility of returning for the 2026 season.

Job Details:

• Salary up to £12.32 per hour
• Part-time hours, specifically working on Fridays from 9 am to 4:30 pm
• Accommodation is not provided; own transport is required due to the location

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning guest accommodations, including bathrooms
• Preparing bedding before guest arrivals
• Cleaning communal areas, including the swimming pool area
• Maintaining cleanliness and health & safety standards
• Stocking storerooms with linens, guest supplies, and cleaning equipment
• Assisting with decorating the centre for events
• Working in a fast-paced environment during guest arrivals and departures

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Team player, but also capable of working solo
• Reliable and responsible
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
