Job Opportunity: Housekeeping Assistant (Part Time)

Salary: £9,756.25 per annum (£12.50 per hour)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 05:30am - 09:00am

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich

About the Role

To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school building, supporting a safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote the school's good reputation by cleaning all areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
2. Use all equipment and chemicals correctly, following manufacturer’s instructions, COSHH regulations, and health and safety legislation, minimizing waste.
3. Perform daily and weekly cleaning routines and any additional duties as directed.
4. Support team members to complete tasks requiring extra staff.
5. Assist in laundry operations when necessary.
6. Report compliments, comments, complaints, defects, damage, theft, breakages, or hazards.
7. Carry out duties safely, considering the health, safety, and welfare of all persons on site.
