ABOUT THE ROLE

Your role as a Housekeeping Assistant will involve working as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained within the home. You will operate according to our standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are upheld.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and the properties of cleaning materials, to ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect, and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
• Experience in cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to providing high-quality housekeeping and laundry services to residents.
• The ability to be adaptable and flexible to cover various responsibilities at short notice.
