Job summary

Richmond Villages Letcombe Regis is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team. This is more than a cleaning role—it's about creating warm, welcoming spaces where residents feel at home and cared for.

Responsibilities

• Create clean, safe, welcoming spaces throughout the village and care home.
• Maintain residents' rooms, apartments, and communal areas to a high standard.
• Look after laundry including residents' clothing, bedding, and communal linen.
• Care for furnishings, carpets, windows, and home comforts.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns.

Job description

No two days are quite the same, but your role will include:

• Creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces throughout the village and care home
• Maintaining residents' rooms, apartments, and communal areas to a high standard
• Looking after laundry, including residents' clothing, bedding, and communal linen
• Caring for furnishings, carpets, windows, and other home comforts that make a difference
• Operating cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure exceptional service for residents
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns
• Following infection control, health and safety, and COSHH procedures
