In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. For you, as a Housekeeping Assistant, this means keeping the home clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming. Your environment will reflect your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning, you’ll do so with kindness and care.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we’ll provide comprehensive training. You should have excellent time management and organisational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. Strong communication skills, including listening and giving clear instructions, are essential. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
