Care Concern Group is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant in the UK to maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments and support laundry services. The role involves cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, and assisting with laundry tasks while following infection control procedures.

The position offers paid Enhanced DBS, staff uniform provision, group life cover and access to wellbeing and learning development resources.

Descripción del empleo

Housekeeping Assistant Contract

• £12.95 to £13.45 per hour
• Contracted to 21 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Housekeeping Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment while also supporting laundry services. This is a varied, hands on role where your attention to detail and high standards will directly impact comfort, dignity and daily wellbeing.

You will be responsible for cleaning residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas, ensuring all spaces are maintained to a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Alongside this, you will support laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing correctly, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and handled with care.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures, ensuring all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Your role will contribute to a well organised and comfortable environment where individuals feel respected and supported.
