Housekeeper - Coventry

Hourly Rate: £12.50

Working Hours: 10am – 6pm, 4 shifts per week. Hours and days may vary from Monday to Sunday.

Vita Student's offers innovative apartment designs with a variety of studios to suit our students' lifestyles, providing privacy or shared living options. We deliver style, luxury, and comfort, complemented by premium amenities and a vibrant city environment. We are expanding our housekeeping team with an experienced Housekeeper responsible for delivering a luxury, home-from-home cleaning service for our residents’ studio apartments, while maintaining our site and facilities to the highest standards.

Responsibilities of Our Housekeepers

Provide an exceptional, personalized room cleaning service to students, ensuring studios are maintained to a clean, healthy, and presentable standard. Duties include, but are not limited to: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, antibacterial cleaning of surfaces, and making beds.

• Respectfully look after our facilities, students, and guests.
• Maintain the upkeep of our premium site and facilities.
• Be proactive in resolving issues or challenges that may arise.
• Serve as a point of contact for any incidents or emergencies onsite.
• Manage waste areas in accordance with health and safety regulations, addressing hazards as needed.
• Use a smartphone or tablet to record and manage each studio clean, including photographing studios before and after cleaning.
• Report any concerning behavior of students that could indicate welfare issues.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management, assisting in stock ordering.
• Follow COSHH regulations when handling cleaning chemicals to ensure safety.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Professional Experience

• Experience in large, multi-room residence facilities, hotels, or hospitals.
• Technologically proficient with systems and software used in operations.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.

Personal Characteristics

• Ability to work in a multicultural environment with respect for diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
• Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Adaptability, creativity, positivity, and resilience.
• Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing and repetitive movements, with accommodations as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous service.
