Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanest, most hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, showcasing your eye for detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and professionalism.

We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. Your positive energy, natural ability to connect with people, and strong communication skills—both listening and instructing—are vital. Always communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.

We offer full training and a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:

  • Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
  • Free uniform
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
  • Company pension scheme
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Group life assurance
  • Wagestream for flexible access to pay
  • Learning and development opportunities with support for qualifications
  • GP online service for 24/7 consultations
  • Learning from experienced colleagues in a supportive team
  • Colleague discounts at over 1600 high street stores
  • Confidential Employee Assistance Programme for physical, mental, and financial support
  • Recognition schemes such as 'Kindness in Care' and Long Service Awards
  • Refer a friend scheme earning up to £1000 per referral

We are committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring our workforce reflects the communities we serve. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and strive for an inclusive working environment.

We aim to provide a seamless onboarding process, from job offer to your first day, to ensure a positive experience working at HC One.
