Job summary

Classic Lodges Hotels is hiring for a hotel housekeeping role in Ambleside. The position involves cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, refreshing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met, with a focus on delivering excellent guest service. Full-time, permanent, live-out option with a 40-hour week and weekends required.

Pay is £29,008 per year (live out). A live-in position could be available on a live-in wage.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent time management and prioritisation.
• Good communication with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
• Restock towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure all rooms are fully equipped for guests.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising rooms in accordance with hotel policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
