Job summary

The Wellington Arms is seeking a detail-focused Housekeeper to ensure our 25 boutique bedrooms and public spaces are impeccably presented. You will play a key role in delivering a calm, welcoming environment for guests at this country pub, restaurant and boutique hotel within the Wellington Estate.

As a Housekeeper, you will clean guest bedrooms, maintain public areas, restock supplies, and assist with dog-friendly room setup, while reporting maintenance needs and working closely with Reception

Qualifications

• A keen eye for detail and pride in presentation.
• Friendly, helpful attitude in guest interactions.
• Reliable and efficient with focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest bedrooms (beds, bathrooms, amenities).
• Maintain public areas to ensure spaces look their best.
• Restock linens and supplies to keep things organised.
• Set up dog-friendly rooms with bowls, towels and treats.
• Report maintenance needs quickly and clearly.
• Collaborate with Reception & Management to prepare rooms on time.
