Nellsar Care Group is hiring a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner at Hengist Field Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent. This part-time role offers 30 hours per week with a pay rate of £13 per hour, including some weekend adjustments as applicable.

You will help keep the home spotless and welcoming, supporting residents with dignity and respect while following established cleaning schedules and safety procedures. Ongoing training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with cleaning equipment and understanding the risks involved.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements in a care setting.
• Infection prevention and control procedures familiarity.

Location: Hengist Field Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent

Contracted hours: 30 hours (to include – every other weekend free, as applicable)

Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements. (Hourly) rate of pay: £13

The Domestic Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Following cleaning schedules and suggesting improvements when it is identified that they would improve practice.
• Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all housekeeping tasks completed.
• Being responsible for understanding and applying the health and safety requirements of the role.
• Being responsible for understanding and applying the infection prevention and control requirements of the role.
• Experience of working with cleaning equipment and appliances and understanding the risks involved.
