What you’ll do on the daily…

  • Linen
    Duties:
    Delivery and collection of
    linen to and from rooms and laundry areas.
  • Apartment
    Preparation:
    Stripping apartments on
    check out.
  • Bed
    Making:
    Ensuring all beds are made
    to a high standard, supporting the housekeeping team.
  • Laundry
    Assistant:
    Assisting with laundry
    operations, washing, drying and folding.
  • General
    Cleaning:
    Assisting housekeepers
    with cleaning duties as required, including cleaning guest rooms and
    public areas.
  • Deep
    Cleaning Duties:
    Performing deep cleaning
    tasks such as flipping mattresses, cleaning behind furniture, and ensuring
    rooms meet the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Inventory
    and Restocking:
    Assisting in inventory
    checks and restocking housekeeping supplies.
  • Extra
    Guest Inventory:
    Placing extra guest
    inventory items (such as cots, highchairs etc.) into guest rooms as
    needed.
  • Team
    Support:
    Working closely with the
    housekeeping team and hotel staff to support department needs.
  • Driving: Transporting linens and
    supplies using a company van, which requires a valid driver’s license

Requirements:

  • Must be over 25 years old, as driving the company van is a key part of the role.
  • Must be able to perform
    heavy lifting and move items efficiently.
  • A keen eye for detail to
    ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Ability to work
    independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willing to assist with additional duties as
    required by the hotel.
  • Previous
    experience in a similar role (housekeeping, porter, laundry assistant) is
    an advantage.
  • Excellent
    communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Reliable,
    punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
