Job Type: Full Time

Hourly Rate: up to £13 per hour

The Gherkin is an iconic London landmark located in the heart of The City of London. Our venue is situated at the top of this building, on levels 37 to 40. We are renowned for corporate events, beautiful weddings, private dining, and spectacular views, with delicious food, famous Champagne, and cocktails served in our Helix Restaurant and Iris Bar on weekends.

We are seeking a personable individual to join as Housekeeper / Cleaner to maintain cleanliness during our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• General cleaning
• Mopping and vacuuming
• Attending to toilets during events
• Assisting the FOH team with folding napkins, ironing tablecloths, polishing glasses, etc.
• Following company policies and procedures
• Adhering to legislative and government guidelines, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations, etc.
• Ensuring all legal requirements are met
• Taking a proactive and hands-on approach
• Working autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills
