Housekeeping Role:

Here at Host and Stay we are always looking for dedicated and friendly people to clean and look after our portfolio of properties in and around the surrounding areas of Durham and the North East.

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel to the properties is essential.

We offer great flexibility, as you can place in your availability and we will work around you! To work with us, ideally, we'd need you to be available on our main changeover days, which are Mondays, Fridays and Sundays with weekdays available too.

If you have an energetic can-do attitude you will be an amazing fit for us. You need to be friendly, flexible and always willing to help. Attention to detail and a reliable approach is a must!

Responsibilities:

1. Thoroughly cleaning the properties between guests, including but not exclusive to hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying etc.
2. The changing of linen between guests.
3. Ensuring and maintaining the presentation of houses for guests and owners.
4. Stock control of household basics/essentials.
5. Reporting any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.
6. Securing the property.

As well as the main duties, the role will also include overlooking and managing the finer details unique to each property. For the right person, additional responsibilities may be offered as the business grows.

Requirements:

1. A full clean driving licence is essential with access to a vehicle to travel to a portfolio of properties.
2. Weekend Availability.

Salary: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
