Job summary

Circle Reading Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper to join their Hotel Services team on a bank basis. The role covers shifts and requires flexibility to cover busy periods and absences across the hospital.

Responsibilities include cleaning patient, public and staff areas, replenishing linen and supplies, and maintaining a safe environment. Applicants should have Maths/English GCSE (A-C) or equivalent, literacy and numeracy competency, and PC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Servicesdepartment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
