Job summary

Circle Health Group in Croydon is seeking a Housekeeper (Bank) to join the Hotel Services team at Shirley Oaks Hospital. The role is on a flexible, as-needed basis across shifts, including cover for annual leave and busy periods.

Duties include cleaning patient and public areas, replenishing linen, and maintaining a safe environment. Applicants should have GCSEs or equivalent and PC skills, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments including Theatre areas.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.
• Comply with mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in theHotel Servicesdepartment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence over 7 days a week.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
