Overview

We are seeking a motivated and committed Housekeeper to join our team within the Antenatal outpatient service at Saint Mary's at Oxford Road Campus, Manchester.

This is an exciting and pivotal role in which you will work closely with the Antenatal Clinic manager, midwives, support and domestic staff to ensure a safe, clean and organised clinical environment. You will take responsibility for ensuring that all medical equipment is clean and well maintained and will undertake the ordering of stock and equipment for the antenatal clinics, ensuring that stock levels are maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with gathering feedback from women and their families using the patient experience tracker and friend and family test.
  • Take part in continuous quality improvement work alongside the rest of the antenatal team.
  • Work closely with women and their families, providing reassurance and answering any queries they may have.
  • Use IT skills within this role.
Qualifications
  • Educated to a high standard, with some experience in a similar role.
  • Empathise with and consider patients as you go about your duties.
  • Organised and positive approach to ensure the tasks at hand are carried out in a timely, effective manner.
  • Cope well under pressure and utilises excellent communication and team skills.
