Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our Glasgow care home team. You will deliver high standards of hospitality, cleaning and laundry, ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents and visitors.

You will work with the Service Manager and team to follow company processes, health and safety guidelines, and infection prevention controls, while supporting residents with a person-centred approach and flexible domestic services.

• Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleaning and laundry within the home.

What does the day of a Housekeeper look like?

• To work individually and as part of a team, assisting the Service Manager / Senior Team provide a high standard of hospitality, cleaning and laundry within the home by maintaining an efficient, cost effective, clean hygienic working environment.
• Offer a safe, clean and stable environment for our residents.
• Comply with company processes and guidelines health & safety and infection prevention and control including equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Undertake tasks as designated in a professional manner, reflecting the values of Holmes Care Group in a person-centered way.
• Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff, and visitors by becoming an integral part of the team.
• Ensure the provision of a responsive, flexible domestic and laundry service to achieve the highest levels of satisfaction.
