A leading catering company in Newcastle is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join their Facilities team. The role involves maintaining high cleaning standards in various areas, including kitchens and meeting rooms. This position offers an hourly rate of £13.60 for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Clearance Required: Basic BDS, CIFAS Check and Credit Check

We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Housekeeper to join our Facilities team in Newcastle. If you take pride in maintaining high cleaning standards and want to be part of a professional, friendly team, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

Carry out a full range of cleaning duties to an exceptional standard

Ensure meeting rooms and communal areas are clean and ready for use

Keep all kitchen areas clean and tidy, including dishwashers, fridges, and cupboards

Follow daily route plans and schedules as set by your line manager

Complete ad hoc cleaning tasks following site audits

Report any maintenance faults or H&S concerns to your manager promptly

Take part in team huddles and contribute to a safe, positive working environment

Support fire marshalling duties when needed
