The Megaro Hotel

Born in March 2007, The Megaro Hotel is a 49-bedroom boutique hotel. Part of the St Pancras Hotels group, this unique property combines art, luxury, and exclusivity under one roof. It proudly holds the world’s largest external hotel mural, acknowledged by international artists.

We are seeking a housekeeper for this wonderful property, someone who is fully independent and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

The housekeeper will be responsible for guests’ bedrooms and the general upkeep of the hotel’s public areas. The ideal candidate will be methodical, conscientious, and detail-oriented, ensuring all rooms are sparkling clean.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the hotel, including back of house and public areas.
• Working as part of a team to ensure an enjoyable environment.
• Performing housekeeping duties efficiently and to high standards.
• Adhering to Health & Safety policies and demonstrating duty of care procedures.
• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks as directed.
• Maintaining high standards of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company dress code.
• Achieving personal KPIs.
• Demonstrating a proactive approach to self-development.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel.
• At least 1 year of experience as a cleaner.
• Reliable and dependable in performing duties.
• Customer service-oriented.
• Drive and commitment to high levels of customer service and product offerings.
• Effective and persuasive communication skills in English at all levels.
• Strong team ethos and ability to support colleagues.
• Ability to use chemicals efficiently and appropriately.
