Housekeeper – 5* Boutique Hotel

The Megaro Hotel. Born in March 2007, The Megaro Hotel is a 49-bedrooms boutique hotel. Part of St Pancras Hotels group, this unique property combines art, luxury and exclusivity under one roof. The Megaro proudly holds the world’s largest external hotel mural, acknowledged by international artists.

We are looking for a housekeeper for this wonderful property, someone who will be fully independent in ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness. The housekeeper will be responsible for guests’ bedrooms and the general upkeep of the hotel’s public areas. You will be methodical and conscientious with an eye for detail, ensuring the rooms are always sparkling clean.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the Hotel as well as back of house and public areas.
  2. Working as part of a team to maintain an enjoyable environment.
  3. Performing all housekeeping duties in an efficient manner, and to the highest standards.
  4. Adhering to the Health & Safety policies and demonstrating duty of care procedures to all areas within your department.
  5. Completing the relevant daily, weekly and monthly tasks as directed.
  6. Maintaining high standards of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company dress code.
  7. Ensuring that personal KPIs are achieved.
  8. Demonstrating a pro-active approach to self-development.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel.
  2. 1 year of working as a cleaner.
  3. Reliable and dependable in performing duties.
  4. Customer Service centric.
  5. The desire to succeed, through drive and commitment to high levels of customer service, and product and service offerings.
  6. The ability to communicate in English effectively and persuasively at all levels.
  7. A good team ethos is important, along with the ability to support team members and colleagues.
  8. The ability to use chemicals efficiently and appropriately.
