Loveday & Co at Kensington is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our care-home team in London. You will perform daily housekeeping in member suites and public areas, ensuring spaces are clean and well-presented to our high standards.

The role includes light laundry, uniform care, health and safety compliance, and opportunities for training and progression as we expand across London.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within a care home or hospitality setting preferred.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Willingness to participate in training and supervision sessions.

Responsabilités

• Carry out daily housekeeping services in member suites and public areas.
• Ensure all areas are clean and tidy to Loveday standards.
• Undertake member laundry and pressing if required.
• Assist members with housekeeping requests.
• Assist with linen and stock management.
• Ensure daily work meets hygiene standards.
• Attend mandatory training and participate in supervision and reviews.
• Wear the uniform provided and keep it clean and presentable.
• Maintain health and safety for self and others.
• Undertake other duties as required by Head Housekeeper and GM.

Scope

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the Loveday team at Kensington. The role will involve providing an efficient and confidential administration service to our care home.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• To carry out daily housekeeping services in member suites and public areas.
• To ensure that all areas are always clean and tidy to the Loveday standards.
• To undertake member laundry and pressing if required.
• To assist members with any housekeeping requests
• To assist with linen and stock management.
• Ensure that the daily work is completed to the set hygiene standards
• Attend initial and update mandatory training as required. Actively engage in personal professional supervision including quarterly one-to-one meetings and yearly performance review, ensuring personal professional knowledge and competency is maintained.
• Wear the uniform provided and ensure that it is kept clean and presentable at all times.
• Take reasonable care of your own health and safety, and that of other persons who may be affected by your actions and carry out your responsibilities in ways that ensure a safe and healthy place of work.
• Undertake other duties at the discretion of the Head Housekeeper and the General Manager.
