You will provide consistent, high-quality service in all areas allocated within the care home environment to meet the requirements of the service specification and the expectations of clients and staff.

Key responsibilities include: catering, cleaning, and laundry services; maintaining clients' dignity and confidentiality at all times; working within all areas of the care home and Facilities Management Soft Services as instructed by the Assistant Facilities Housekeeper or other manager; ensuring all areas used by clients and staff are maintained to the required standards in a timely manner.

Experience in catering, cleaning, and laundry services, along with a high awareness of current hygiene practices, is essential. Candidates should possess organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable qualifications include an SVQ (or equivalent) in Catering, SVQ (or equivalent) in Cleaning, or an elementary food hygiene certificate.

This post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding, for 12 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever is earlier.

Working Pattern: 16-hour Housekeeper position, working between 0800-1330, 3 days a week over 7 days.
