Job description

We are a busy theatre suite with 11 theatres within peri operative medicine at Arrowe Park site.

We are a dedicated, welcoming and professional team of staff.

The housekeeper is an integral member of the team who will work alongside the Management and Nursing team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of all Nursing equipment, both in use in theatres and store.

Responsibilities:

• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all clinical equipment, both in use in theatre and in store.
• To ensure all equipment and the theatre environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not.
• Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required.
• To order and maintain an appropriate stock supply of consumables to unit via oracle, telephone, email, or hospital supply chain.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and perform clerical tasks such as answering the telephone and use of Cerner IT system.
