Job summary

Mezzino Limited in Wimbledon is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming student accommodation. You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, supporting high standards of cleanliness and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning of communal areas, checking rooms between check-ins, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in communal areas (kitchens, lounges, bathrooms, hallways and floors).
• Clean toilets including floors, walls, pans, urinals, sinks and fittings.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned to a high standard between resident check-ins and check-outs.
• Restock supplies in communal toilets (toilet rolls, soap, towels).
• Report maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager in a timely manner.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to in cleaning practices.
• Assist with deep cleaning and seasonal cleans as needed.
• Empty waste bins.
• Work with team to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Secure windows and doors in unoccupied flats.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely following training.
• Undertake inspections of apartments/bedrooms and re-inspect if necessary.
• Support resident move-ins/move-outs to ensure rooms are clean and presentable.
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Accommodation Manager.

As a Housekeeper at Mezzino Limited, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and staff. You will ensure that the student accommodation is kept in pristine condition, supporting the business’s high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

This is a full time vacancy, 37.5 hours per week, covering hours between 8am and 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks both internally and externally including communal areas i.e kitchens, lounges, bathrooms, hallways and floors.
• Cleaning of toilets to include floors, walls, WC pans, urinals, sinks, hand basins and fittings
• Ensure all rooms are cleaned to a high standard between resident check-ins and check-outs.
• Restock supplies such as toilet rolls soap, towels as necessary in communal toilets
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or any concerns to the Facilities Manager in a timely manner.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to in cleaning practices.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special cleaning tasks as needed (e.g., post-incident cleaning or seasonal cleans).
• Emptying of waste bins.
• Work alongside other team members to ensure seamless operation and resident satisfaction.
• Securing the windows & doors in all unoccupied flats
• Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and responsibly.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning materials and equipment, and report stock levels to the Accommodation Manager.
• Ensure cleaning store remains locked at all times when not occupied
• To operate various cleaning equipment/machinery in accordance to the training provided.
• To undertake inspections throughout the year of all apartments and bedrooms and do re-inspections if necessary.
• Provide support for resident move-ins and move-outs, ensuring rooms are clean and presentable.
• Other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Accommodation Manager.
