Job description

Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking an outstanding Housekeeper with a passion for making a difference to others. This part-time role involves working 25 hours a week, including alternate weekends, at Cygnet Paddocks, a specialist Neuropsychiatric rehabilitation service for men affected by acquired brain injury or neurological conditions.

Main Duties

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness on-site
• Carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines
• Maintain and replenish stock; ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained
• Employ safe working practices and adhere to health & safety procedures
• Comply with COSHH regulations

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in mental health or care settings is preferred
• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or domestic work is desirable
• Knowledge of COSHH is desirable

Additional Information

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, requiring a DBS check. The hourly rate is £12.60, increasing to £12.70 post-probation.
