Our Housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our homes, ensuring that every room and living space is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times. As a champion for hygiene and infection control, you’ll have access to specialised equipment and materials to create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, their friends, and families. Some residents enjoy participating in simple cleaning and laundry tasks, so you may sometimes receive extra help during your routines.

About Rodley House

Rodley House is a 42-bed Care Home located just a short drive from Lydney in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. The home offers Nursing, Respite, and Residential care in a comfortable, homely setting. We are rated 9.5 by Carehome.co.uk and classified as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission.

You should be comfortable working in an elderly care setting, able to relate to residents with care and sensitivity. Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training.
