Job Description for a Part Time Housekeeper based in Godstone, Surrey

Position: Permanent

Job Reference: MD761

Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Godstone, Surrey

Number of Children: B3 - Nanny employed

Pets: Border Collie

Salary: £20-£22 gross per hour

Holiday: Statutory Paid Holiday

Start Date: ASAP

Hours Required: 9 Hours per week, ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3 hours each day. However, the family are flexible.

Driver: Prefer driver, though not essential.

Summary:

Our client is looking for an experienced Housekeeper for their newly renovated home. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, will see things that need doing without being asked, and also be professional.

Duties to include:

  • Complete care and cleaning of the home.
  • Laundry and ironing to include wardrobe management.
  • Making sure supplies are stocked in the bathrooms.
  • Changing the beds fortnightly.
  • Managing household supplies, e.g., ensuring they are stocked on cleaning products, toiletries, etc.

Additional Duties (if time permits):

  • Managing/engaging with other service providers as needed, e.g., gardener, pool maintenance, etc.
  • Managing household shopping (in collaboration with nanny).
  • Local errands, e.g., to post office, etc.
