Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for The Barclay at Midlothian to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents in a memory care setting. The role supports daily operations, including cleaning and sanitizing rooms, offices, and common areas, following state regulations and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate demonstrates compassion for seniors, a willingness to serve, and flexibility to work Monday–Friday with every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility clean, safe and sanitary.
• Clean resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies and corridors.
• Handle chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements.
• Maintain equipment, transport trash and hazardous waste to disposal areas, replenish supplies.

Full-Time; Monday - Friday with every third weekend

Hours are 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper for The Barclay at Midlothian

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.
