Job summary

Circle Health Group's Ross Hall Hospital invites applications for a part‑time Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team. The role covers day‑to‑day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas to keep a safe and pleasant environment.

The position is 10 hours per week, with shifts 15:00–20:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Applicants should have GCSEs (Maths/English) and PC proficiency to perform duties across departments including Theatre areas.

Qualifications

• Good literacy and numeracy required.
• Strong communication skills essential.
• Proficiency with a PC and basic software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and staff areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Be flexible to work across departments (including Theatre) and at other Circle Health Group sites.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead for auditing.

Salary: Up to £25,525.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 10 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Candidates must be available to work from 15:00 - 20:00, Saturday and Sunday.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
