Job summary

Circle Health Group, Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow, is hiring a Housekeeper to join the Hotel Services team. The role is 10 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern, with 15:00–20:00 Saturday and Sunday availability.

Salary is up to £25,525.00 FTE per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will clean patient, public and staff areas, replenish linen and consumables, and may work across departments and sites.

Qualifications

• Competency in literacy and numeracy.
• Good Communication skills.
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested.
• Complete daily task sheets and submit to the Housekeeper Lead on a daily basis for auditing purposes.
• Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

We have an opportunity for a Housekeeper to join their team of staff in the Hotel Services department.

This is a part time role for 10 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Candidates must be available to work from 15:00 - 20:00, Saturday and Sunday.

Duties of this role include:

• Undertake in the day-to-day cleaning of patient, public and employee areas.
• Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and Circle Health Group employees.
• Replenish linen and consumables.
• Provide flexibility to work in all departments (inc Theatre areas) and at other Circle Health Group sites where appropriate and as requested

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Competency in literacy and numeracy
• Good Communication skills
• Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
