Job summary

Capability Scotland in Perth is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our friendly team. You will keep customer flats and shared spaces sparkling clean and safe, contributing to a comfortable living and working environment.

Hours are 23 per week with a pay of £15,242.09 per year. The role includes a fully funded SVQ, pension contributions, and extensive holiday entitlement, plus perks like cycle to work and PVG checks.

• Some experience with cleaning or housekeeping.
• Good eye for detail and high cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
• Running laundry duties – washing, drying, and sorting clothes and linens.
• Keeping stock of cleaning supplies and notifying when running low.
• Filling in cleaning checklists after each shift.
• Following health and safety rules to keep everyone safe.
• Pitching in to help the team and stepping up when the Senior Administrator is away.

Location: Upper Springland, Perth, Isla Road, PH2 7HQ / Hours: 23 hours per week – £15,242.09 pa

Contract: Permanent

About the Job

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team at Capability Scotland, Upper Springland Campus. You’ll help keep our customer flats and shared spaces sparkling clean and safe, creating a comfortable environment for everyone who lives and works here.

No two days are the same, and your work really makes a difference in people’s lives!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Cleaning rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
• Running laundry duties – washing, drying, and sorting clothes and linens
• Keeping stock of cleaning supplies (and letting us know when we’re running low)
• Filling in cleaning checklists after each shift
• Following health and safety rules to keep everyone safe
• Pitching in to help the team and stepping up when the Senior Administrator is away
