Job description

Dean Close Little Trees Nursery, Celtic Springs, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Housekeeper to join the team.

Main Purpose of the role: Keeping the nursery clean and tidy throughout.

Duties will include:

1. Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuuming all rooms of the nursery, emptying all bins, dusting all woodwork, cleaning toilets, sinks, and floors of all bathroom areas.
2. Working as part of a team, where all members are valued, under the supervision of the Nursery Manager and/or Deputy Manager, with responsibility for the safe and efficient cleaning of the nursery.
3. Ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery in accordance with Environmental Health procedures.
4. Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety to ensure the safety of children, colleagues, parents, and visitors, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
