Housekeeper, Malmaison

Rate: £12.46 Per Hour, 15 Hours Per Week
Type of contract: Permanent
Location: Malmaison Newcastle

Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned daily. You should have an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness.

Malmaison offers luxury and boutique hotels across 15 locations in the UK, known for style and hospitality, with exquisite accommodations and a relaxing atmosphere, along with our Chez Mal Brasseries.

As a Room Attendant, you will interact with guests, so conversational English is essential, as is the ability to work independently. You will be a vital part of the team, ensuring bedrooms are clean and tidy for guests.

The role involves set shifts, 5 days out of 7, starting at 9 or 10 am. Flexibility may be required during peak times. Early start times and weekend work can be discussed during the interview. The role requires a good level of fitness. Full training on chemicals and equipment will be provided.

Experience is not required, but a positive attitude and desire to make a difference are essential. Malmaison encourages internal development, including apprenticeship schemes after probation.
